Portal to the Source
There's something about waterfalls. I've always been compelled to watch them. I've always been compelled to paint them.
There is magic in the universe and waterfalls are a sort of conduit to that universal source.
The combined energy of rocks and the water being pulled, crashing onto and over them. Or Freefalling to deep blue pools.
